ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX ITINERARY - ROOKIE

Day 1 Thu*. Overnight flights from London to UAE.

Day 2 Fri. (Practise). Arrive in UAE and transfer to the 4* Cristal Hotel. Before your 2 pm check-in, drop your bags and freshen up before heading over to Yas Island, use your complimentary pass to visit any one of the four theme parks on Yas Island. Move to Yas Marina Circuit and explore the F1 fan zones before practice begins. Enjoy the Yasalam after-race concert.

Day 3 Sat. (Qualifying). Enjoy breakfast at your leisure and head over to Yas Marina Circuit for Qualifying Day. After racing, walk or take the shuttle bus to Yas Bay waterfront for dinner before settling in for the Yasalam after-race concert.

Day 4 Sun. (Race Day!). Enjoy breakfast and rejuvenate yourself at the pool before heading over to Yas Island (it's going to be a long day!). Don't miss the Driver's parade and the Etihad Airways & Al Fursan fly-past. Enjoy the Yasalam after-race concert.

Day 5 Mon. Morning flights from Abu Dhabi to London

*flights arrive in to the UAE on Fri morning, if you wish to attend the complimentary Pit Walk, you will need to be in Abu Dhabi on Thursday morning, please speak to one of our agents who can organise this for you.

GETTING TO ABU DHABI

Your Flights

STAYING IN ABU DHABI

Your Hotel

You will be staying at the 4* Cristal Hotel for 3 nights. The hotel is located in the downtown district of Abu Dhabi, minutes away from the Gold Souk and Abu Dhabi Corniche. The Cristal offers excellent value for money and is conveniently located in the business district of Abu Dhabi, here you can immerse yourself into the local culture, with plenty of restaurants and entertainment, there is much to do on your doorstep - not that you'll be spending much time at your hotel! The hotel features a cosy pool and an excellent spa and bar, making it the perfect base for F1 fans.

Rookie packages include 3-day Abu Dhabi Hill General Admission tickets, providing full access to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix weekend including after-race concerts. If you wish to upgrade your ticket category on this package, we also have Grandstand tickets (seated) and a wide range of Hospitality tickets.

FAQ's

When will I receive my F1 tickets?

F1 tickets for the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix are digital, you will be emailed your tickets approx 1 week before race week.

Will our F1 seats be assigned together?

As long as you and your group are in the same booking, you will automatically be assigned seats next to each other. If you are travelling in a group with different bookings (booked with The Travel Authority) please email us as soon as you book and we shall endeavour to place your seats together where possible. Once tickets have been assigned we will not be able to re-allocate seats.

Can we meet any of the F1 drivers or legends in Abu Dhabi?

There are many opportunities to meet F1 legends and drivers, please contact The Travel Authority for more information.

Yasalam Concerts - who is performing and how can I get tickets?

The Yasalam Concert artists have not yet been announced. 2023 artists include Chris Brown, Tiesto, Ava Max, Shania Twain and the Foo Fighters. If you have purchased an F1 ticket you can attend concerts, depending on whether you have a two or three-day ticket. To access concerts you must present your F1 ticket to the staff at Yas Marina Circuit and collect a wristband, you will not be able to attend the concerts without a wristband. If you wish to upgrade your Yasalam concert experience, you can purchase Golden Circle tickets and get the best views of all the action upfront.
